Upstream is produced mostly by just two people: Della and Robert. Most shows like this have an entire team of researchers, writers, producers, audio engineers, editors, etc. We do it all on our own—and we couldn't do it without the financial support from our community.

If we were living several hundred years ago, perhaps we would have a wealthy patron that would bestow upon us large sums of money to keep us going. Perhaps if our message was less threatening to the current economic paradigm, we would have an easier time finding funding from traditional sources.  Neither of these are the case.

We want to continue to bring you the high quality documentaries and the important interviews that challenge traditional economics and inspire change. And we want to be able to produce more than just a couple of episodes a year.
