Upstream entirely listener funded—we couldn't keep this project going without your support. You can make a one-time or recurring donation through our nonprofit fiscal-sponsor at the link above OR you can join our Patreon at receive bonus episodes and other benefits.
Upstream is produced mostly by just two people: Della and Robert. Most shows like this have an entire team of researchers, writers, producers, audio engineers, editors, etc. We do it all on our own—and we couldn't do it without the financial support from our community.
If we were living several hundred years ago, perhaps we would have a wealthy patron that would bestow upon us large sums of money to keep us going. Perhaps if our message was less threatening to the current economic paradigm, we would have an easier time finding funding from traditional sources. Neither of these are the case.
For now, our ability to keep this project going is reliant upon the generosity of our listeners. We want to continue to bring you the high quality documentaries and the important interviews that challenge traditional economics and inspire change. And we want to be able to produce more than just a couple of episodes a year.
This is where you can make a difference. Please consider supporting us at an amount that makes most sense for you. And if you're simply not at a place where you can donate financially (trust us, we understand), we're always in need of ratings and reviews on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and folks who can share our conversations and documentaries with folks who might appreciate the content. Thank you for all the love and support!
